Product Description
This pin honors Apollo, who won the 1882 Kentucky Derby, without ever winning a race against other two-year-old peers, with jockey Babe Hurd up. He was bred by Daniel Swigert of Elmendorf Farms, the same man who owned 1877 Derby Winner Baden-Baden and bred 1881 Derby Winner Hindoo. Apollo was both owned and trained by Green B. Morris.
