Product Description
This pin honors Day Star, who won the 1878 Kentucky Derby by two lengths with jockey Jimmy Carter up. Day Star is also acknowledged for beating Aristedes’ 1875 record time for the mile and a half Derby race. He was bred by J. M. Clay, owned by T. J. Nichols and trained by Lee Paul.
