Product Description

This pin honors Sir Huon, winner of the 1906 Kentucky Derby in a surprise rush to win over Hyperion II. That May, Sir Huon raced with jockey Roscoe Troxler up. Sir Huon’s win was notable because, previous to his Derby win he had never raced professionally. Sir Huon was bred and owned by Geroge James Long of Bashford Manor Stable, breeding grounds for past Derby winners such as Azra in 1892 and Manuel in 1899. He was trained by Pete Coyne.
