Product Description
This pin honors Behave Yourself, winner of the 1921 Kentucky Derby with jockey Charles Thomson up. His breeder and owner Edward R. Bradley had placed Behave Yourself and another of his horses, Black Servant into the Derby, hoping to use Behave Yourself as a rabbit for his favorite. In an upset for Bradley and much of the betting field, Behave Yourself raced in the last stretch to beat Black Servant at the finish. Behave Yourself did not turn out to be a particularly successful racehorse or thoroughbred stud thereafter, and spent his retirement as a sire for the Calvary.
