Product Description

This pin honors Jet Pilot, winner of the 1947 Kentucky Derby with jockey Eric Guerin up. Jet Pilot had a quick start and raced well to the finish, easily beating the betting favorite Phalanx. He was bred by Arthur B. Hancock and Mrs. R. A. Van Clief at the Claiborne Stud Farm in Paris, Kentucky and owned by Elizabeth Arden, of cosmetic fame, at Mainechance Farm in Lexington. He was trained by Tom Smith.
