Product Description

This pin honors Dust Commander, winner of the 1970 Kentucky Derby with jockey Mike Manganello up. Despite a big bump and falling behind right out of the gate, Dust Commander rallied greatly and pushed past My Dad George to win. He was bred by the Pullen Brothers, owned by Robert E. Lehmann and trained by Don Combs. His trophy given him for winning the Kentucky Derby is housed at the Kentucky Derby Museum.
