Product Description

This pin honors Cannonade, winner of the 1974 Kentucky Derby with jockey Angel Cordero, Jr. up. Though at first behind, Cannonade rushed in the final stretch to beat Hudson County by 2.25 lengths. Cannonade was bred and owned by John M. Olin at Gainesway Farm near Lexington, Kentucky and trained by U.S. Hall of Fame inductee Woodford C. Stephens. Cannonade retired immediately after the Derby to stand as a stud at Gainesway.
