1891 Kingman Tac Pin
This pin honors Kingman, who won by half a length with Isaac Burns Murphy up. Murphy had won two times previous, in 1890 on Riley and in 1880 on Fonso. As had occurred the previous year, a muddy track made the race very slow, and Kingman managed to win by half a length. Kingman was bred by A. C. Franklin, trained by Dud Allen and owned by Jacobin Stables.
A Kentucky Derby Museum Exclusive.
Pin measures 0.75 X 1”.
