1964 Northern Dancer Tac Pin
This pin honors Northern Dancer, winner of the 1964 Kentucky Derby with 1957, 1960 and 1962 Derby winning jockey and U.S. Racing Hall of Fame inductee William Hartack up. He won in a drive in a record-breaking time only once beaten by Secretariat in 1973. He would go on to with the Preakness. Northern Dancer was bred and owned by Edward P. Taylor of Windfields Farm in Toronto, Ontario and trained by 1962 Derby winner Horatio Luro. In 1976, Northern Dancer was inducted into the U.S. Racing Hall of Fame.
