1994 Go For Gin Tac Pin
This pin honors Go for Gin, winner of the 1994 Kentucky Derby with jockey Chris McCarron up. Go for Gin raced much of the way with tough competition surrounding him, but he finally pulled ahead to defeat Strodes Creek by two lengths. He first retired as a stud to Claiborne Farm in Lexington and then to a farm in Maryland. He was bred by Pamela DuPont Darmstadt, owned by William J. Condren and Joseph M. Cornacchia and trained by Nicholas Zito.
